We are an organization that promotes safety in any space, activity, and environment, considering which is a right and a need of all beings humans—focusing on the immigrant community, indigenous and undocumented residents of Louisiana.

Solidarity, Not Charity

This documentary summarizes our mutual aid effort and describes how it was possible to organize and provide for our community during a pandemic and many obstacles against us.

We continue to prevail thanks to the help of many donors.

Language Justice
in times of a Pandemic

Much of our immigrant and indigenous community has been limited in communicating in their native language in all settings. Especially in times of Coronavirus, they have not been able to easily access information in their language.

At Familias Unidas, we have focused on acquiring and providing all related information and providing access to vaccines.

Your generous donations help us continue our mission to empower our families.

You can make your donations via Venmo or Paypal.

We also accept donations of food, clothing, shoes, personal hygiene, and cleaning products.

Contact Leticia at (504) 813-4022 to arrange a donation or for more information.
